Success couldn’t evade her. She had never treated it like a destination. To her, success meant trying with the most honest intent. As long as she had tried, she’d succeeded. It was a simple correlation in her head. But her peers found it annoying. Can a woman not wear tenacity as a badge of honour? Is that again a man’s territory?

Despite the criticism, she was proud of being tenacious. Of not giving up easily. And to celebrate her being, she wore colours that seamlessly combined her femininity with her obstinacy. Description

This saree has been handwoven by a master weaver in the Mashru tradition. The Mashru weave is said to have originated in West Asia, in the 19th Century. The fabric is woven with a silk weft and a fine cotton warp. It thus combines the ageless comfort of cotton and the timeless aesthetic of silk, elevated by the presence of gold and silver zari.
